It Takes Two

I don’t know about you, but I refuse to be the only one working on the relationship. I’m not going to be changing my behavior without him doing the same. I would rather be single than have to “train” a man.

He is not a dog or a child. He can grow up and change the behavior that’s causing the problem. I have to change my behavior that’s causing the problem, he can do the same.

If he wants clean clothes, he can wash them, dry them, and put them away. He wants creases in his pants? The iron is in the closet. Get on it, big boy.

He wants dinner? The kitchen is over there. There’s nothing to cook? Why didn’t you do the grocery shopping? You want the house clean? Get up and clean it.

I have a ton of things on my to-do list. If I don’t get to something you wanted done, I’m sorry. I guess you should have gotten together with super woman. I’m not her.

I know a lot of people are probably thinking I’m lazy or whatever. You have every right to think what you want.

If I’m working all day and he’s working all day, he’d better not plop in front of the TV and wait for dinner.

I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE LIVING IN THE HOUSE AND I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE IN THE RELATIONSHIP!!!!!

I refuse to be the only one doing the work, nor am I going to do the bulk of the work.

I think it’s time for men to grow up. I don’t want to clean the house and do the laundry. I hate cleaning and cooking, but, apparently, it has to be done. Therefore, men can help or get out.

What are your thoughts?

Until next time…
